Writing Right Meta Data for Your Website

It’s no secret that for the successful positioning in the WWW, there are some rules for the submission of website information to be indexed by search engines and all kinds of link directories.

1. Writing the title of the project (60-70 characters)
The idea is that each page should have its own title, but this is not obligatory. The name should fully reflect the content if you want the search engines to adequately react to your project.

2. Writing the description of the project (less than 200 characters)
Some search engines show the first 200 characters as a description, so the text should be selected carefully. And, therefore, the content of this tag will be an indicator for the user to evaluate whether it is worth to visit your site or not. If your description tag is not used, as the description the search engine takes the first line or piece of text with found keywords. It is not recommended to copy tag title into the description. It is desirable that description tag contains a few keywords.

3. Writing keywords (not more than 1000 characters)
In forming the list of keywords, you should use the words contained in the text pages. Words not found in the text, however, can be used, but they are better to be placed in the end of the list. Keywords should not be repeated more than twice.
